Pred nekaj dnevi, natanÄneje 10. maja, je izšla prva knjižna izdaja spletnega stripa Inverloch, ki ga v njegovi spletni obliki spremljam že kar nekaj Äasa. Težko priÄakovana knjižna verzija prve knjige bi mroala prispeti v knjigarno, preko katere sem knjigo naroÄil, v dveh tednih od izdaje… le upamo lahko da bo temu res tako.
V tem tednu sem odkril dva nova spletna stripa, ki sta odliÄna za branje in sem za branje celotnega arhiva porabil kar nekaj Äasa. Oba sta bila hitro dodana med dolg spisek spletnih stripov, ki jih redno spremljam. Se pravi wullfmorgenthaler in Pewfell sta dva odliÄna stripa, ki ju mora vsakdo prebrati.
Z veseljem tudi sporoÄam, da sem v soboto konÄno dobil dve knjigi H. P. Lovecrafta, ki sem ju naroÄil. Brez materiala za branje je bila v tednu kar suša tole pa bi moralo težave odliÄno pozdraviti. Knjigi sta v bistvu zbirki njegovih novel, kar naj bi bil najbolj primeren naÄin za zaÄetek raziskovanja tako ekstenzivnega opusa.

A few days ago, on the 10th of May to be precise, a book edition of the webcomic Inverloch has been released. I’ve been a great fan of the webcomic version for quite some time now and I can hardly wait for the bookstore through which I’ve ordered the book to receive it, supposedly this will be two weeks after release… we shall see.
Also during this week and weekend I have discovered two wonderful webcomics that have urgently been added to the quite extensive list of webcomics I read regularly. They are wullforgenthaler and Pewfell, both provided hours upon hours of entertainment as I struggled to read through the archives.
One of the greatest thing that happened on Saturday was that the two books from H. P. Lovecraft that I’ve ordered have arived and I picked them up. It has been quite a drought without any fresh reading material but this should prove to provide quite some reading time until they are finished with. Two lovely collections of short stories with some of Cthulhu, these are the ones I’m most interested in at the moment.

Z veseljem oznanjam, da je risanje stripa konÄano in je na vrsti le še barvanje vsega skupaj, kar zna trajati nekaj Äasa. Predvideno je, da naj bi strip bil pripravljen nekako do sredine tedna. Slika, ki jo vidite zgoraj, je neke vrste predogled stripa in predstavlja zadnjo sliÄico brez teksta in verjetno v ne ravno dokonÄni obliki.

Glad to announce that the penciling for the whole comic has been finished and the colouring was commenced. This will take some time but presumably the comic should be up by the middle of the week or something like that. The image you can see above is a sneek peak from the comic, it is to be the last panel, though currently without speech bubbles and probably not completely the last version.

Danes sem si ogledal sem si film
V for Vendetta, narejen po
stripu istega imena, in moram reči, da je odličen. Dobra zgodba (čeprav nekako spominja na
1984 pomešan z
Fantom iz opere). Igranje je bilo tudi zelo dobro ter prav tako režija. Da ne govorim o posebnih učinkih; najboljši del filma je, ko ura na Big Benu odleti proti gledalcu, skoraj nedotaknjena, medtem, ko se cel stolp dobesedno zdrobi na koščke. Čudovito.
Natalie Portman je bila odlična kot Evey Hammond, ampak saj je bila odlična tudi v
Piratih s Karibov, odlična igralka.

V for Vendetta, made after a
comic book of the same title,
today and I have to say, the movie was absolutely marvelous. The plot was great (although it kind of reminded me of
Nineteen-eighty-four meets
Phantom of the opera). Also the acting and the directing and even the special effects were really awesomely done. The absolutely best moment was when Big Ben’s clock face blew out in such a lovely fashion. It stayed completely whole whilst the whole tower just shatter and flew out towards the viewer. Awesome.
Natalie Portman also did a great job as Evey Hammond, but then again she was great also in
Pirates of the Caribbean. She makes a good actor really.

A few days ago, on Thursday to be precice, a great journey has begun, a journey into the lands of penguins and operating systems. After a short and bitter format of the main hard-drive came a long and bloody battle for the installation of a fresh Gentoo linux. The battle had lasted for roughly three days and still there are some things to be done. The scanner, for instance, is still being a bourden that doesn’t quite function.
Work has also started on the first issue of Cthulhu and what’s come out of the blank paper so far isn’t at all too shabby. I managed to pencil the first panel, which was an endeavour that took roughly an hour. Come to think of it, the first issue has 14 of these panels and it makes me cry. When you add another two hours for colour of a single panel you can see that the making of the first issue is to take roughly 42 hours, which must be the reason why this comic is refreshed only monthly. From another perspective, an average work week contains 42 hours, so if this comic was to be updated weekly…

Pred nekaj dnevi, natancneje v cetrtek, se je zacelo dolgo popotovanje, potovanje po cudnih dezelah pingvinoh in operacijskih sistemov. Po kratkem in bolecem praznenju osnovnega diska je prisla dolga bitka za oblast in obstoj z instalacijo svezega Gentoo-ja. Bitka je rajala priblizno tri dni, in v bistvu nekatere stvari se vedno niso kot bi morale biti. Na primer skener se vedno protestira in je neuporaben.
Zacel sem tudi z delom na prvem delu Cthulhu-ja in sem kar zadovoljen z izgledom, ki se pojavlja na praznem papirju. Uspel sem zrisati prvo okence, kar je trajalo priblizno eno uro… Ce pomislim, da je v prvem delu 14 takih okenc me kar stisne pri srcu. V bistvu, ce na to priracunamo se, da barvanje enega takega okenca traja priblizno dve uri, se vidi, da bo izdelava prvega dela trajala 42 ur, kar je verjetno razlog zakaj je nov del samo enkrat na mesec. Iz drugega stalisca, povprecen tedenski delavnik je 42 ur, tako da ce bi hotel, da je strip tedenski…
Narejena je bila tudi nova staticna stran, prva v bistvu, njena namembnost so cisto samo povezave.
